Views From The Top

March 2018–Turks and Caicos Islands

There’s a good reason why I always book a window seat. Even though it’s a little more squished, and you have to bug other passengers to move in and out, it’s completely worth it! Whether it’s a bright, sunny day, a night flight, or approaching sunrise/sunset the view from the top never disappoints.

Yesterday mornings flight was no different. Looking out the window on my flight from Fort Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos I was in awe. The views were breathtaking! Blue, turquoise, crystal clear waters of the Caribbean were beneath me.

I’ll go ahead and say it, this was the BEST view I’ve had from an airplane. My eyes were happy and my camera was clicking. Enjoy a few unedited shots and let me know if you’ve seen a view similar or better!

  1. Always beautiful coming in over the Caribbean, regardless of what island you’re headed to. The flight into the Bahamas is pretty spectacular. I love the view coming into the Keys as well. Gave a great time, by the way. 😊

      1. You’re welcome, Trish! πŸ™‚ Uncle Tree likes to drive.
Roads trips are fun and comfortable, and more private. I like getting lost, too. LoL Always seems to happen somewhere along the line, and I usually end up some cool place I would have missed, if I’d of stayed on the straight and narrow.

I’ve never “needed” to get somewhere quick, either. Maybe, one day, I will, and if I have the chance, and can afford to fly, I surely will.

Have a great weekend! Cheerz, UT

  2. Turks and Caicos holds a special place in my heart… my husband and I were married there back in 2003. I’m sure a lot has changed since then, but I have no doubt the beaches are still ridiculously stunning and the people are lovely. Enjoy!

  3. Stunning images. I’ve rarely had chance to fly anywhere, and the most surreal thing I saw from up aloft was both French coast and British coast at the same time, from over the English channel.
