Happy Veterans Day

Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 2018

First and foremost, let me begin with HAPPY VETERANS DAY.

To the men and women who are currently serving in the U.S. military and those who are a military veteran, THANK YOU.

Thank you for sacrificing your life to protect others, for believing in our nation, for being brave, standing strong, and most importantly for believing in freedom.

Thank you for being a hero.

I am blessed to know so many of these humble heroes, past and present.

I recently had the opportunity to take some photographs on Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina.  I had been on the base a few times, but this time was different, as I had my camera in hand, ready to capture visions of America.

If you’re not familiar with Camp Lejeune, it is a United States military training facility housing mostly Marine Corps; but also Navy command and the U.S. Coast Guard.  The base has a indestructible motto of ‘one team, one fight,’ and is so expeditionary that they can deploy on a moments notice. Not only does it house military operations, it is also much like its own city with housing, restaurants, stores and beaches.  For those of you that are familiar with Camp Lejeune, I’m sure you have a few good stories and opinions of the base.  (Please Do Share!)

Have a look and enjoy some of my moments on Camp Lejeune with my family, and of course, Wayne.

      1. Thank you so much. I always feel at home on military bases, particularly Air Force. Hope you can visit one. You can check when they have an open house or maybe when the Thunderbirds fly. 🙂
